The friendliness and efficiency of the team at Barcelo Santo Domingo was beyond great! Starting with Miss Handy Peña at the front desk in reception! She is amazing!!! Handy efficiency gone the extramile to acomodate my personal needs and to make sure I enjoy my stay. Another super start was Aurelio from the guys helping with bags... He was also very helpful, friendlyl and a great listener! The Bed and the cleanness of the room 602 was fantastic! Right up to the level of class of the Hotel.

Meals at the buffet were great. The room was clean and the bed was comfoartable. The pool area was beautiful. The staff was very efficient.

Customer service from front desk are exceptional! Especially females employees they work very hard and they give the best customer service. Also, we received a wonderful service from personal of the breakfast section, housekeeping and the door service gentlemen they are always welcoming with a great smile and kindly and polite hospitality.

The hotel is good but the rooms are a little old and dated and it probably does need an upgrade. The room is big and comfortable enough though. The hotel has a nice pool and the gym is also good and quite well equipped. The location isn’t close to any of the tourist attractions but Uber is very affordable so it was easy enough just to uber places.

Bed and pillows really comfortable - room lovely but dark and constant car horns outside! Pool lovely sunbeds really comfy Staff really helpful Worth getting the Breakfast and Level 9 snacks from 4pm

My stay was great. It would been perfect if not for one problem, there was humidity in the room so much that you can smell it. I opened the window to see if letting a little bit of fresh air in would help but it didn't. I don't if it was the carpets or what but I think that was the only problem I had with the place. Other than that all good.

The room was nice, clean and peaceful. The bed was great, comfortable and soft. The breakfast vary which was pleasant. The staff was attentive and ready to help. Especially Yerrisa. Every question we had she was always ready to serve us. Top!!!! And the soup of sancocho: delicious.

LOVED Barcelo! The front desk staff is the BEST! Great location. Great breakfast and dinner buffets. Liked the pool area. Enjoyed the spa services.
